Patrick Doherty spent the past seven years overseeing design review in downtown Seattle. Now he's off to Federal Way, where he'll spearhead creation of a city center there.
Doherty recently ended a 17-year career at Seattle's Department of Design, Construction and Land Use -- the last seven as manager of city design review -- to become Federal Way's deputy director for economic development.
