Most people retire at age 63, according to AARP. Then there are folks such as commercial real estate agent Henry Wood. He retired the other day at age 88, after 67 years at the same brokerage, save for a short stint in the Army and working for a defense contractor.
"He was just real steady," says Dennis Counts, Wood's longtime colleague at Yates, Wood & MacDonald.
