Brokers and developers are buzzing about an offer from the city of Bellevue that is expected to create a bidding war and result in significantly taller buildings in parts of downtown.
The city is selling 432,000 square feet of transferable development rights. While this is common in Seattle, it's a first for Bellevue, according to Jim Firestone, the senior real property agent for Bellevue.
