It's not the biggest office lease, but it is kind of intriguing: the Mexican Consulate, a fixture in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood, will double in size when it moves this summer.
That lease will be a plum, not only for the landlord but also for the city. The tenant would provide a steady income stream, and a little cachet — or sello distintivo in Spanish — when it comes to international economic development opportunities.
