Restaurants can define a street, neighborhood or even a city.
They pull people in off the street, are gathering places and tourist attractions, and in mixed-use buildings can be a big draw for renters or office workers. At a Bisnow event Wednesday, developers, brokers and restaurateurs said a spirit of collaboration between the architect, developer and tenant is key to building spaces that restaurants can thrive in.
