The days leading to the Fourth of July exude the slowness of a backyard bar-b-Q. It brings back memories of small town parades, the curious scent of holiday sparklers and the delicious anticipation of a brief family vacation.
That slowness has invaded the local home and loan market. Buyers definitely seem to have other things in mind than beating the bushes for a new home, sliding the housing industry into the seasonal, temporary Vacation Valley.
