What to do about that vacation home

The couple was getting on in years. The family getaway, on an island accessible only by small boat or plane, had become more of a burden than they were willing to admit.
The excitement of opening the place for the summer was now a three-day chore, and winterizing had been moved up to September because the cabin had been too cold for them the past few Octobers.
