The woman called our real-estate talk show program when she had heard mention of the USS Carl Vinson.
We had sent a special holiday greeting to the ship via Armed Forces Radio. The big aircraft carrier was sailing toward San Diego en route to Bremerton after serving as a crucial sea platform against the Taliban regime in Afghanistan under Operation Enduring Freedom -- and the woman was ecstatic.
