Aging real estate professionals are faced with an intriguing challenge: They are hearing from their leaders that the industry must find a way to replace them, yet many Realtors over 55 are among the most successful in their office and have no intention of doing anything else.
For example, Earl Lee, the respected president of Prudential Real Estate Affiliates (PREA) leads 1,600 offices and 40,000 agents in one of the largest real estate companies in North America. He recently told attendees gathered at the recent Real Estate Connect Conference in San Francisco that home buyers and sellers “want a face that looks like them.”
