Kenny Graham was concerned about the unemployment numbers in the Puget Sound area. He had heard that if a housing bubble truly existed, it would burst first in communities where it was tough to get a job.
Graham, 63, divorced with no children, plans to spend the winter in sunny Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, far removed from the Northwest’s cold and rain. He knows two former office partners who have bought homes there in a popular expatriate community.
