Engineer Pete Lymberis joined Quadrant Corp., where he'll oversee development of Snoqualmie Ridge II as senior development manager. Snoqualmie Ridge II is a 725-acre extension of the 1,340-acred master-planned community called Snoqualmie Ridge. Lymberis previously was a project manager at Coughlin Porter Lundeen for four years. Before that he worked as a senior engineer for Pace Engineers. He's a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. "He has managed projects ranging from the Redmond Ridge community to the Costco world headquarters and the REI Campus," said David Dorothy, director of Snoqualmie Ridge II.
Jack Rader, a comedic hit as a recent NAIOP emcee, returns to team with PR man Bob Frause and brokers Ed Curtis and Clay Neilsen for a panel presentation about marketing commercial projects at the association's next breakfast meeting. The event is set for 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Elliott Grand Hyatt Hotel in downtown Seattle. The title: "Getting back to the basics with focused, consistent communications." A flier says the panel will talk about "getting and keeping your projects in front of the audiences that matter." Rader is general manager of CenterPoint Corporate Park in Kent. The Bellevue Downtown Association will discuss the Downtown Implementation Plan at the association's monthly breakfast meeting on Tuesday, March 26. The event will run from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Bellevue Club on Southeast Sixth Street. "Downtown Bellevue will double in jobs and triple in housing units over the next 20 years. RE/MAX International says its sales associates in Washington handled 15,500 sales of homes in the state last year. The deals totaled $3.1 billion, up 13 percent, the Colorado-based residential brokerage said. The total of 1,023 sales people in 56 offices in the state is up 17 percent from the year before, the firm said.
The firm identified Marge and Ralph Ripley's RE/MAX Northwest Realtors office in Seattle as its top brokerage for last year for Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. RE/MAX Metro Properties in Mountlake Terrace and RE/MAX Central West in Bonney Lake led the region in adding more associates. Lori and Dean Reece of Bellingham are broker-owners of the year. The firm gave Bob Hansen of Ellensburg its Above The Crowd award for his commitment to the real estate industry and his community.

Pratt Fine Arts Center wants to fill a newly established position of managing director. The position was established to assist Executive Director Greg Robinson. Pratt's board of directors has named Sara Pasti interim managing director until the position is filled. Pasti was director of curatorial affairs for the Henry Art Gallery. The center has also recently hired Bob Wicklein of the Seneca Real Estate Group to be project manager for building a new facility in Seattle's Central District.
Douglas J. Smart has been appointed Washington state chair of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. Smart is a shareholder in the Seattle firm of Graham & Dunn.
