Aaron Kraft has joined the Bellevue office of Kidder Mathews, specializing in office leasing and sales for landlords, tenants and investors. Kidder Mathews has more than 200 brokers in nine offices in Washington, Oregon and California.

Transwestern named Mark Jackson to head the property management team in Seattle as senior vice president. Jackson will oversee the launch of Transwestern's management services platform in this region and be responsible for new business development, service delivery, client relations, recruiting and expansion. Transwestern recently opened the Seattle office, headed by Greg Laycock as executive vice president and managing director, and plans further expansion nationwide. Jackson has more than 29 years of property and asset management experience. He was CBRE Group's director for the Seattle South Asset Services Office, overseeing more than 21 million square feet of space in this region.
Sperry Van Ness|Bluestone & Hockley of Portland announced the sale of Lost Lake Resort & Campground in the Mount Hood Wilderness Area for $1.2 million. The property is under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Forest Service. The 10-acre site surrounds Lost Lake. The land and business are leased under a USDA permit and are open six months a year. Brian Resendez of Sperry Van Ness|Bluestone & Hockley engineered the deal, representing both the buyer and seller.
The Washington Apartment Outlook is set for Friday, Sept. 28, at The Bellevue Hyatt Hotel from 12:30 to 4 p.m., with a cocktail reception following at Daniel's Broiler. The speakers will be Mike Scott of Dupre + Scott, Matthew Gardner of Gardner Economics and Joe Puckett, director of government affairs for the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association. Everett-based Coast Equity Partners said Josh Jansen has joined the firm as a principal. He was director of Coast|Sperry Van Ness' multi-family sales group, and now will be vice president of acquisitions. Coast Equity Partners is a real estate investment firm that acquires and operates properties in the western United States for investors. It is buying apartments, manufactured housing parks, medical-office, commercial-office and retail.

Kent-based Gleason & Co. Commercial Real Estate has added Charlotte Turpin as administrative assistant to work with owner Chad Gleason on marketing, leasing and tenant relations. She has a background in customer service and administration, and worked at the Kent Downtown Partnership and Holland America Cruise Line. Gleason provides property management, landlord representation, tenant representation and investment analysis.
Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has promoted Armand Tiberio to senior vice president investments. Tiberio joined Marcus & Millichap in July of 2001. He was promoted to vice president investments in July of 2008 and to first vice president investments in January of 2010.
The September CREW luncheon speaker will be Julie Benezet, founder of Business Growth Consulting, with an interactive presentation called “Leadership: The Journey of Not Knowing.” Benezet will talk about how to overcome uncertainty and fear. Benezet has worked as an executive, lawyer and entrepreneur, and was vice president of corporate resources and director of global real estate for Amazon.com.
