Flinn Ferguson

Flinn Ferguson Corporate Real Estate promoted Brian Hayden to principal. He will now be one of the firm's partners and leaders, along with Daniel Flinn, Parker Ferguson, Dan Foster and Matt Hermsen. He has been with Flinn Ferguson since 2006, helping companies in technology, financial services, legal, architecture and engineering and nonprofit fields. Flinn Ferguson was founded in 1995 as a tenant representation firm.

Marcus & Millichap

Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services hired Paul Loubet as western regional director for the national retail group. Working out of the Newport Beach, Calif., office, Loubet will manage more than 100 investment sales brokers throughout the west. He was vice president of investments for Regency Centers, an retail owner and developer. Marcus & Millichap has an office in Seattle.

EMB Management

Associa's EMB Management, which provides services to homeowner associations and developers, added three condo complexes to its portfolio: Scudder Pond Townhomes, a nine-unit project near Lake Whatcom in Bellingham; Channel Place Community Club, a 40-unit condo complex in Bellevue and Laurel Crest, a complex in Seattle's Laurelhurst neighborhood. Dallas-based Associa says it is North America's largest homeowner association management firm, with 8,000 employees and more than 150 offices in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Keller Williams Realty hired Martha Picinich and Elaine Shankland in Seattle. Shankland and Picinich previously worked as a team at John L. Scott Real Estate. Keller Williams says it is the largest real estate franchise operation in the U.S., with 700 offices and more than 80,000 employees in the U.S. and Canada.

Impact Capital

Impact Capital, a Seattle-based nonprofit involved in development and affordable housing, hired Chris Moxon as senior program officer for lending. Moxon will manage the loan portfolio and help develop new programs. Moxon has worked in the nonprofit development field for more than 15 years. He spent the last three years at Global Partnerships, which provides microloans to people and businesses in Latin America.

Reconnecting America, a nonprofit that focuses on transit-oriented development, will hold a webinar at 9 a.m. July 16 comparing TODs in Seattle, Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Speakers include Ben Bakkenta and Sara Schott Nikolic of the Puget Sound Regional Council; Chris Sandvig, regional policy director at Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group; and Brian O'Malley, director of policy and programs at the Central Maryland Transportation Alliance. ULI conference in B.C. July 26-27

Urban Land Institute British Columbia will hold its fifth annual Young Leaders Group Cascadia Regional Conference July 26 and 27 at the Terminal City Club, 837 W. Hastings St. in Vancouver, B.C. Rollin Stanley, manager of planning, development and assessment for the city of Calgary, is the keynote speaker. The conference will focus on building in established cities like Seattle, Portland and Vancouver, and urbanizing areas like Bellevue, Hillsboro and Burnaby. EmpRes Healthcare Management

Vancouver-based EmpRes Healthcare Management LLC bought No Place Like Home Senior Care in Gardnerville, Nev., from founder Rick Ackerson. The company has three other nursing homes near Carson City, Nev. EmpRes Healthcare affiliates own and operate 45 nursing homes, rehab centers and assisted-living communities in Washington, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada and Oregon.
