Ottenbreit holds bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from Washington State University, and has four years of experience. Smith has eight years of experience, focusing on stormwater and grading design. He was with Lewis County Public Works. Garcia has over 20 years of accounting experience. Morse has 14 years of experience, and was a construction services manager with Storhaug Engineering. AHBL provides civil and structural engineering, landscape architecture, community planning and land surveying, with offices also in Seattle and the Tri-Cities.

Bellevue-based Wood Harbinger promoted Bruce Pitts to vice president of commissioning and industrial systems. Pitts has over 40 years in the industry and with Wood Harbinger. He has led the commissioning practice since its inception in the early 1990s. His experience includes central plant, aviation, military, medical and educational projects. Wood Harbinger is an engineering consulting firm.

In the Bellevue office, David Evans and Associates hired Keith Wolf, Ph.D., as Puget Sound regional manager focusing on natural resources and environmental services. Wolf has over 26 years of experience in the industry, much of it gained through public sector work. He has worked for Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation and the state fish and wildlife department. DEA designs transportation, water, land, energy and marine infrastructure systems.

Bellevue-based Osborn Consulting hired Joshua Van Wie, Katie Herold and Jeff Roeser as project engineers. Van Wie supports stormwater projects with five years of experience with water resources modeling. Herold uses 12 years of civil engineering experience to support the transportation design group. She has worked in stormwater design and modeling, design of dry and wet utilities, erosion and sediment control, and low impact design. Roeser is an engineer with over 10 years of experience in design. He works in the site development group on commercial and municipal projects.

In the Portland headquarters office, GSI Water Solutions promoted hydrogeologist Rod Struck, civil/environmental engineer Randy Pratt and corporate controller Liesl Deck to principal. It hired Cindy Ryals as an environmental scientist and Steven Kuhlmeier as an environmental engineer. Ryals has 10 years of experience and specializes in human health and ecological risk assessment. Kuhlmeier's experience includes remediation projects and technical support for groundwater and environmental projects. GSI consults on groundwater, environmental contamination and water rights for municipalities, agribusiness, water districts and industries.

Ramsey has 12 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on stormwater treatment and sustainable stormwater management. Cavender was with Sudden Valley Community Association in Bellingham. He has a background in stormwater management, natural resource management and permitting. Smith was with the city of Tacoma. He has experience designing facilities and infrastructure for drinking water, wastewater and stormwater. Griggs holds a bachelor's and master's in civil engineering from Washington State University.

Qu is from Dalian, China, and holds a bachelor's in engineering. She also has a master's of fine arts in interior architecture from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Davis has been a journalist at Puget Sound area publications for over 20 years, and is founder/executive director of Seattle Women in Jazz. Hormann worked at a Winnipeg architecture firm for three years, designing and managing medium scale residential projects. She holds an undergraduate degree in environmental design and a masters of architecture. Salus provides planning and design of health care facilities.

SoundEarth Strategies named Pam Xander a principal in its Seattle office. Xander manages the firm's Northwest team of environmental review and permitting specialists. She prepares SEPA and NEPA documentation for industrial and public works projects. She has over 25 years of experience in environmental studies and has worked on over 150 SEPA/NEPA projects. She also assesses upland and in-water permitting requirements. SoundEarth is a West Coast-based environmental consulting firm.
