Ballard firm uses robots for underwater projects

    Ballard Diving & Salvage used two underwater robots to lay high-voltage cable in Alaska.

    LAST YEAR when the Washington State Department of Corrections laid a power cable in Puget Sound from Steilacoom to the McNeil Island Corrections Center, it used a Ballard firm to ensure the line was positioned correctly.
