AIA Project of the Month: At City Hall, a blend of art, landscape and politics

On warm days Seattle City Hall achieves its goal of being Seattle’s living room when people make use of its plaza. The Red Wall catches the sun at the plaza level.

As a destination, City Hall has always been for people on a mission. They go to get a building permit, register a complaint, advocate for a cause or just see what the government is up to.
