Near the new headquarters of Amazon.com, Terry Avenue would be unrecognizable to someone returning after a decade of absence. Mid-rise office buildings loom where there were only one-story warehouses and surface parking.
The Seattle neighborhood is building up too fast for some. But even hidebound growth opponents would probably have to agree — Terry Avenue is more inviting.
