A new relationship is evolving between Elliott Bay and downtown Seattle, and it will be defined by two projects: the Elliott Bay Seawall and Seattle Central Waterfront. But at this critical time they are being designed by different teams, on different schedules.
The seawall project is practical and responsible. The waterfront project is the ground of dreams. But for the sake of the city, they have to work very well together.
