For most of a century, the Museum of History & Industry has followed Seattle, literally picking up the scattered pieces of the past. Now, with a renewed mission and new home on Lake Union, the museum is stepping into a leading role.
With its new location in the historic Naval Reserve Armory in South Lake Union, MOHAI has taken a white elephant and turned it into a time traveler. In the first week after it opened, nearly 20,000 visitors walked through.
