Tips on trust from a guardian angel

Hello, my name’s Ralph. I’m a guardian angel. I don’t know what I did to deserve it, but I’ve been assigned to watch over several architectural firms. I’ve been tempted a number of times to ask for reassignment but my heart overrules. The need is just too overwhelming.

I see it all too often. It usually starts with the famous words, “Trust me,” followed by, “I can’t pay you now but I will cut you in as partners. As soon as the development loan is approved, I will pay your fees as well. But we need to get going right away on the concepts so we can get out an investment package…”
