Safety starts with the bidding process for Mowat Construction. They seek out design features that can be improved or modified to make conditions safer for all workers on the site.

Mowat invests time and effort on training their employees and developing good working relationships with the union agents so that it is a smooth hiring process. Then they equip all of their workers with top-of-the-line protective gear and create effective lines of communication about best practices and near misses.

With high standards and expectations for all site workers, Mowat supervisors do their best to make sure everyone goes home safe at the end of the day.

Mowat has been an AGC Safety Team member since 1992.
