MacMiller is a lean company and every corner or its business supports the lean culture. One of the guiding principles of being lean is continuous improvement. The company believes in setting realistic and attainable goals. Many companies set the goal of zero injuries, but what happens as soon as an employee is injured? MacMiller’s safety goals for 2019 are to increase the amount of man-hours worked per injury and to have less total work related injuries in 2019 than in 2018.
