Seattle garden could blossom into $40M project

  • Chinese artisans are working on the project's $4.5 million courtyard. Up to 12 buildings could be constructed over five years.

    The courtyard will be the first major structure for the Seattle Chinese Garden in West Seattle.

    At a site in West Seattle 21 master artisans who arrived from China last month are working to create tradition in a modern city.
