Delta Sky Club

Delta Air Lines has opened a second Sky Club at Sea-Tac Airport.

The $23.5 million project is 23,400 square feet — one of the largest of the airline’s 51 clubs worldwide, with seating for more than 400 people on two levels.

It has work areas, a commercial kitchen, bar and food service, restrooms and a spa. There are power and data outlets near seating, and six shower suites for international travelers. High-backed seats called "hush pods" provide space for private conversations.

A 30-foot high window wall offers a view of the tarmac and Mount Rainier through View Dynamic Glass, which automatically adjusts tinting to reduce glare and energy use.

The club was built above a baggage handling facility and transit tunnel, which remained open during construction.
