NASCAR's search for a Northwest track site has fueled all kinds of talk -- some crazy, some not. The Buzz thinks ultimately the 70,000-seat track will end up in Snohomish County, but before we get to that let's consider some of the other possibilities.
One of the most outlandish ideas comes from JJ Greive, a huge NASCAR fan and contractor. He says his idea would not only bring some form of racing -- NASCAR or Indy car -- to downtown Seattle, but help pay for the city's most pressing infrastructure need: replacement of the ailing Alaskan Way Viaduct.
