Avis offers ski rental packages

    • GARDEN CITY (PRNewswire) -- For savings on skiing the West, you might want to look into Avis Rent A Car's SuperValue Ski Package.

    The package includes a free one-day lift ticket, a free one-year subscription to Ski, Skiing or Snowboard magazines, a free ski rack rental, and free unlimited mileage when you rent a vehicle from Avis for four or more days.

    The package is available at participating Ski the West airports and participating resorts in California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming and Canada.

    Customers should mention rate code TQ when calling their travel consultantor the Avis Ski Reservation Hotline at 1-888-SKI-1212. In Canada, call 1-800-TRY-AVIS (879-2847). Or check out the Web site at http://www.avis.com under the "Avis Deals" section. Rates are not discountable and vehicles must be returned to the original renting location. Higher rates apply during holiday and other peak periods.
