SEATTLE -- Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr., renowned American historian, will present the Seattle Public Library's annual A. Scott Bullitt History Lecture at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at the First United Methodist Church, 811 Fifth Ave., Seattle.
This program is free and open to the public. Tickets and reservations are not necessary. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Schlesinger will talk about the extraordinary transformations that took place in the last century, including the growing rejection of racism and the recognition of the values of diversity, the rise of globalization and more.
