SEATTLE -- The Alexis Hotel will present the artistic works of over 30 Northwest seniors through Dale Chihuly's "Seniors Making Art" organization from Jan. 8 through Mar. 31.
Founded by Chihuly in 1991, "Seniors Making Art" is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for seniors by providing opportunities for creative expression through art.
From 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Jan. 24, an artists reception will take place at The Alexis, providing an opportunity for the public to meet the artists.
The Alexis Hotel is committed to preserving and enhancing the art community of Seattle. From original artwork throughout the guest rooms and public spaces to the seasonal art exhibits, The Alexis strives to showcase the diversity and culture of the Pacific Northwest.
