SEATTLE -- The Westin Seattle and the Fourth Division, Pacific Northwest Region, of the National Model Railroad Association have set up a seasonal celebration display which will continue through Dec. 16 in the lobby of the Westin.
The display was constructed and is run by an all-volunteer staff of train buffs from the association. They are the same people who constructed the popular Pacific Science Center train exhibit. The 13 volunteers each have designed their own section featuring a different theme. The sections are incorporated into one large display with nearly a mile of double track. Volunteers are available between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. every day to answer questions about model railroads.
