    • SEATTLE -- The Seattle Aquarium, located on Pier 59 on Seattle's central waterfront, wants you to welcome in the New Year with a unique crowd -- giant sculpins, sea dragons, urchins and sea otters at their New Year's Eve extravaganza, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Dec. 31.

    Celebrate the New Year with dancing, food, drink and live jazz music. The cost is $50 per person. Call (206) 386-4314 for reservations or visit www.seattleaquarium.org.

    Aquarium Extravaganza holders will receive special discounts on their room rate at the Hotel Edgewater. The Edgewater will provide shuttle transportation between the hotel and aquarium. Call Hotel Edgewater at (800) 624-0670 for room reservations.
