FadoPubs opens doors to Seattle

  • News you can use after 5 p.m.
  • SEATTLE -- Fado Pubs introduced Seattle to its style of contemporary Irish pubs, by opening its doors recently in their new Pioneer Square location.

(from left to right) Seattle Fado general manager Eric Peterson, Fado director of marketing Brendan Buckley, COO John Stevenson and CEO Kieran McGill.

Fado Pubs, a privately owned group of up-scale Irish pubs based in Atlanta, acquired Ram International Restaurant Group's Tir na nog at First and Columbia and immediately remodeled the restaurant.

The decor of the pub is unique and blends a rustic charm with a contemporary Irish look and the pub operation is also very different with its eclectic "fusion Irish" menu, edgy music, Irish staff and quality oriented beverage portfolio.

Fado Pubs currently owns and operates restaurants in 10 cities nationwide, including one in Portland.
