Northern Marine, Skagit Valley College and the Northwest Workforce Development Council collaborated to create a training program for boat manufacturers that will include modules in safety, electrical, carpentry and resin infusion lamination. The program was made possible by a grant from the Washington State Employment Security Department. Classes will be taught at Northern Marine, an Anacortes-based yacht manufacturer.
Infogain Corp., a consulting firm based in Los Gatos, Calif., named Glenn Gramling senior vice president of sales and marketing. Gramling is the former director of strategic marketing at Seagate Technologies and spent 15 years with Hewlett-Packard in various sales and marketing positions.
Seattle-based Richmond Public Relations joined the Worldcom Public Relations Group, an international network of public relations firms. Richmond's current clientele includes Benaroya Companies, Kimpton Hotel Group, Krispy Kreme, Oki Golf, Redhook Brewery, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, and Tully's Coffee.
Kinko's opened a new location in Georgetown at 5963 Corson Ave., Suite 176. Through the end of December the new branch will offer discounted copies and the opportunity for customers to win a digital camera.
Cleveland-based KeyBank named Mark Tsutakawa team leader of its Bellevue Middle Market Team. Tsutakawa is the former senior vice president and is succeeded by Jim Johnson, former senior relationship manager. Johnson will also act as team leader of KeyBank's Seattle Middle Market Team.

MTM Management has named Marla Goldberg sales manager of Alderbrook in the town of Union on Hood Canal. Alderbrook is scheduled to reopen in June of 2004 after an extensive renovation. It will have 77 guestrooms and 13 cottages, as well as a restaurant, spa and meeting space. Goldberg was group sales manager for the Woodmark Hotel and Spa in Kirkland and also worked in sales for the Kimpton Hotel Group in Seattle and the Salish Lodge & Spa in Snoqualmie. MTM manages several Northwest properties including the Freestone Inn, Sorrento Hotel and Willows Lodge.
Dental Health Services hired Dennis Elonka as an account executive in the Seattle office. Dental Health Services, based in Long Beach, Calif., offers dental benefit plans to groups and individuals in California, Oregon and Washington.
Lane Powell Spears Lubersky, a Seattle-based law firm, added Hardeep S. Rekhi as an associate in the labor and employment department of the Seattle office. Rekhi recently graduated from Tulane Law School.
The University of Washington Business School promoted Melanie Reynolds to director of executive programs. Reynolds is the former assistant director of executive programs.
Allstate Foundation, a charitable organization funded by Allstate Corp., recently awarded grants to three organizations. The Boys & Girls Club of King County was awarded a $20,000 grant for the Street Smart and Smart Moves programs. Junior Achievement of Greater Puget Sound was awarded a grant of $25,000 and Hate Free Zone Campaign of Washington was awarded a grant of $20,000 for Project Reflect. Allstate Corp., an insurance company, is based in Northbrook, Ill.

Steven C. Johnson has joined Raskin & Associates as a principal. He will lead the Kirkland-based company's continuing expansion to serve the Seattle market and oversee the company-wide tenant representation. Since 1985, he has run his own commercial real estate business, Steven C. Johnson & Associates, in Seattle, and before that he was a partner at the Norman Co. Jason Griffin, formerly of Steven C. Johnson & Associates, will also join Raskin & Associates as a member of the client services group.

Working with the Salvation Army, Windermere Real Estate has launched its Home for the Holidays Program. It will use funds donated by Windermere owners, agents and staff members to pay one year's worth of rent for seven Puget Sound-region families. The program also includes the TLC Drive Saturday and Sunday when Windermere's Western Washington offices will collect towels, linens and cash for local charitable groups.
