DNA, a Seattle-based creative services agency, hired Tom Gilmartin as creative director of the Seattle team. He has 15 years of experience, recently worked at Ignited in Los Angeles and has worked with nationally known brands like Levi's, PlayStation and Lexus.
Taco Del Mar Franchising Corp. hired Rick Braa as chief financial officer. Braa is based in the Seattle corporate office and was a principal and director of Clothier & Head, Taco Del Mar's former audit firm. Taco Del Mar is a quick service Mexican restaurant chain.

Holland America Line hired Brian Johnson as director of corporate training and development. Johnson will be responsible for programs in the company's hotel school in Indonesia, the Culinary Training Program in Manila, an English language learning program for crew, and leadership development for fleet and land-based employees. Johnson was director of fleet training and employee relations at Princess Cruises.
Jim Hawkins, an 18-year financial services veteran, has been named regional brokerage manager for the Seattle branch of Ragen MacKenzie, a division of Wells Fargo Investments. Hawkins will be responsible for Ragen MacKenzie's operations in Seattle, leading a team of 30 financial advisors. He will also continue as regional sales manager for Wells Fargo Investments.


The International Council of Shopping Centers is presenting the Seattle Next Generation Program on Oct. 7 with speaker Dan Ivanoff of Schnitzer Northwest. A seminar on “Strategies for Working with Small Tenants” will be held on Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at the IREM Office in Kirkland. TRI Commercial/Corfac International Senior Vice President and Regional Manager Ed Benoit said TRI's Robert (Bob) King and Jeff Crane of The Andover Co./Corfac represented WB Equities in selling a Federal Way International House of Pancakes. The 4,022-square-foot property is at 178 S.W. Campus Dr. and sold for close to the asking price of $3.25 million. There are more than 18 years remaining on the lease.
