Landgren has 25 years of experience in the office products industry and was president for the U.S. Global Imaging Systems. Spokane-based Healthcare Resource Group hired Judy Griffith as director of business development in the Midwest. University Book Store has opened an Essential Baking Co. cafe in the Bellevue store at 990 102nd Ave. N.E., serving breakfast and lunch, baked goods, coffee, and beer and wine.

Department of Natural Resources

Peter Goldmark, commissioner of public lands has named Kyle Blum deputy supervisor for State Uplands and Aaron Everett deputy supervisor for Forest Practices and Federal Relations. Blum was special assistant to the commissioner. Everett will continue to serve as Washington state forester, a position he has held since 2010. DNR manages more than 5 million acres of state-owned lands.

HomeStreet Bank

Seattle-based HomeStreet Bank promoted Rose Marie David to senior vice president and retail mortgage production leader. David was originator and producing branch manager at MetLife. HomeStreet is a state-chartered savings bank with locations in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Hawaii.

Transwestern named Mark Jackson to head the property management team in Seattle as senior vice president. Jackson will oversee the launch of Transwestern's management services platform in this region and be responsible for new business development, service delivery, client relations, recruiting and expansion. Transwestern recently opened the Seattle office, headed by Greg Laycock as executive vice president and managing director, and plans further expansion nationwide. Jackson has more than 29 years of property and asset management experience. He was CBRE Group's director for the Seattle South Asset Services Office, overseeing more than 21 million square feet of space in this region.

Sperry Van Ness|Bluestone & Hockley

Sperry Van Ness|Bluestone & Hockley of Portland announced the sale of Lost Lake Resort & Campground in the Mount Hood Wilderness Area for $1.2 million. The property is under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Forest Service. The 10-acre site surrounds Lost Lake. The land and business are leased under a USDA permit and are open six months a year. Brian Resendez of Sperry Van Ness|Bluestone & Hockley engineered the deal, representing both the buyer and seller.

Washington Apartment Outlook

The Washington Apartment Outlook is set for Friday, Sept. 28, at The Bellevue Hyatt Hotel from 12:30 to 4 p.m., with a cocktail reception following at Daniel's Broiler.
