Industry veteran Eric Paulsen has been promoted to president of brokerage at Kidder Mathews, the firm recently announced. He'll now oversee some 500 West Coast brokers, from our state down to Arizona. Kidder's Bill Frame said in a statement, “This promotion marks an important step in our ongoing succession planning. Eric is an exceptional leader. His experience, positive personality, and drive to win make him the perfect fit to lead our growth and amplify our outstanding company culture.” Paulsen only joined the firm recently. He explained, “Three years ago, I joined Kidder Mathews because of its forward-thinking leadership, collaborative culture, and exceptional business platform. Now, I'm excited about the incredible opportunity to build on our momentum, working with teams across all services to drive even greater growth.”

Nov. 20 will mark the annual broker forecast and breakfast for NAIOP Washington State, to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel. The panel of experts will be lead by CBRE's Greg Inglin (pictured). He'll chat with Chris Hughes of JLL, Casey Trees from KBC Advisors and Brynn Telkamp of Be | Retail. Up for discussion, says NAIOP, is “How will work from home, high borrowing costs, and global economic pressures continue to impact the CRE market into 2025 and beyond?” We're guessing offices won't figure much in the conversation. The event begins at 8 a.m. Details and registration: naiopwa.org.
