Earlier this year the market was atwitter with tales of Amazon being in the market for a new 1 million-square-foot headquarters. A deal, if true, was said to be years off, but the company has been growing (now at 9,000 full-time employees) and apparently needs some space soon.
How much depends on who's talking. One broker says it's 125,000 square feet. Another says the online retailer could take as much as 200,000 square feet, and "they need it now."
