A Bellevue-based luxury single-family builder is offering a $100,000 private jet membership to buyers of its homes priced at $1.2 million or more, Executive Vice President Louis Howard said.
Potential buyers of the John F. Buchan Homes residences can afford their own jets, he said, but everybody likes an incentive. Besides, the firm's customers have become more “value conscious” as prices of Puget Sound region homes have risen faster than their incomes, he said. Now, they're looking for sellers that give them a little more square footage, extra “bells and whistles” — or private jet trips, he said.
