On the Block: Disruption at the parking lot? Sure, why not
A blue package locker recently appeared in the parking garage below my dentist's office in Lower Queen Anne. REEF, it says. What is REEF Technology? A well-funded startup, it turns out, which is expanding here and in other markets
Package lockers run mostly by Amazon have been steadily popping up in apartment lobbies, outside drug and grocery stores, etc. Putting one in a garage or parking lot, where people are by definition in their cars, trunks waiting for stuff to transport, certainly makes sense.
