The Real Estate Adviser: Tips for guys on fire and fireworks

While heading to the hardware store in search of a more powerful ceiling fan for the kids' bathroom shower, I came upon a series of fireworks stands selling the ubiquitous colorful, loud reminders of the Fourth of July.

Are there simply more of them this year? Perhaps more non-profits trying to make a buck?
