KremeWorks USA, the licensed developer for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in the Northwest, has named Jeri Knox as its first chief operating officer and managing partner. Knox, who joined KremeWorks in 2001 as a concept partner, will oversee operations in Washington, Oregon, Hawaii and Alaska. She has more than 24 years' experience in the restaurant industry, beginning her career at Nordstrom restaurants, cafes and espresso bars. Establishing the COO position is the next logical step in light of the company's growth, said KremeWorks President and CEO Gerard Centioli. Knox will oversee the company's expansion in the Northwest and in new markets.

Trammell Crow

Trammell Crow Co. has promoted Nick Cassino and Cleita Harvey to senior vice president and John Hanson to vice president. Cassino is responsible for leading the industrial brokerage team, Harvey will focus on leasing in downtown Seattle, and Hanson will concentrate on industrial leasing and tenant representation.

Lorig Associates has hired Paula Crandall as a senior property manager for Lorig Management Services LLC. She will lease and manage projects, including collegiate housing and properties managed for the National Development Council and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in Seattle. Crandall has 22 years of property management and leasing experience. She previously worked as portfolio vice president and designated broker for Washington-based Legacy Partners Commercial, and as president of Liberty Asset Management in San Jose, Calif.

Quadrant

Quadrant has promoted Michele Jackson to advertising manager, Scott Mcallister to graphic design manager and Teresa Heaton to merchandising coordinator. Jackson has been with Quadrant since 1995 and Mcallister has been with the corporation since 2001. Both were marketing coordinators prior to their promotions. Heaton, who previously was sales and operations coordinator, has been with the company since 1998.

Bernard Development

Tom Bernard, owner of Bernard Development Co., has leased 10,525 square feet of office and warehouse space in Building 2 of the I-90/Preston Industrial Park to the King County Library System. Michael Carroll, facilities manager for the library, said the library is consolidating several activities at the new location. The library will complete some minor improvements to the space over the next couple of months.

Paragon Real Estate Advisors

Saint Newton of Paragon Real Estate Advisors represented Rita Lawton in the $575,000 sale of the Belmont Apartments, a 13-unit property at 1211 Pacific Ave., Everett, to Oak Tree Properties LLC. Phil Leng of Windermere Oak Tree represented the buyer.
