Karen Stevenson, Trish Norman and Ricky Thomasson became residential sales associates in Prudential MacPherson's Auburn office. Jeffrey Ferrell and Kalen Randall joined the Lynnwood office. Cheo Saeteun, Victoria Hou, Tracie Pentzold and Virginia Whetstine became associates in Renton. Anna Eicher and Jean Hardy now work in Seattle North. Pat Winnenberg joined the Woodinville office.

Jerry Mahan of the Puyallup office, sold more homes last year than anyone else in the firm. The next 16 top producers, ordered by volume of sales, are: Dean Street, Bellevue; Doug Walker, Puyallup; Tom Tollen, Kent; Betty DeLaurenti, Mercer Island; Grace Hudtloff, University Place; Nada Sundermeyer, Bellevue Place; Greg Perry, Lynnwood; Kimberly Johnston, Bellevue South; Thach Nguyen, Renton; Sally Gregg, Bellevue Place; Jim Selden, Puyallup Canyon Road; Betty Sweeney, Lake Bellevue; Edward Krigsman, Belltown; David Gala, Tacoma North; Dave Bennett, Gig Harbor; and Carrie Lord, Bellevue. The firm totals 2,800 agents.
Rich Connolly joined John L. Scott Real Estate's Lynnwood West office. Jeff Youtsey started in the Lynnwood office. The firm's president, J. Lennox Scott, was appointed to a three-year term on the Executive Committee of the board of the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County. EDC chairman Frank Young Jr. appointed Scott.
Pacific Retail L.P. bought the Fairwood Square Shopping in Renton's Petrovitsky Road area from California-based Burnham Pacific Real Estate Investment Trust, which has been liquidating.
Pacific Retail paid $5.35 million for the 32,910-square-foot center, built in 1988. An Albertson's grocery anchors the center but wasn't part of the sale. Broker Paul Sleeth of Colliers International handled the transaction for both parties.
Quadrant Homes started sales and construction at its 10th and 11th Puget Sound-area single-family subdivisions. Action started on 154 homes at Patrick's Faire in Maple Valley near Lake Wilderness, and on 70 homes in Silverwood, located in Federal Way. Both offer homes of three to five bedrooms starting at below $200,000.

US Bank western region economist John Mitchell will speak at the upcoming lunch meeting of the Seattle Mortgage Bankers Association's Income Property Finance Committee. Mitchell will talk about "The Weakest Corner," a reference to the Northwest's geographic location. Bob Wicklein was named a principal of Seneca Real Estate Group, a Seattle-based development management firm. Wicklein joined Seneca in 1999 and has been managing projects for the Pacific Northwest Aquarium, University of Puget Sound in Tacoma and Talaris Research Institute. Before Seneca he worked for 12 years in facility planning and capital project management for Boeing, including as a loaned executive on managing design and construction of Benaroya Hall. Wicklein holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois.
Tim Chin was promoted to associate vice president in the Bellevue brokerage office of Colliers International.
Hossein Sabour Mohajer bought the eight-unit Vine Apartments at 1411 S. Concord St. in Seattle for $245,000 from Gary Dunham. Marcus & Millichap broker George Miller arranged the deal as representative for both parties.
R. Scott Adams achieved the Appraisal Institute's MAI designation, known in the industry as "the credential." Adams is a senior appraisal reviewer and assistant vice president at Washington Mutual Bank. He has 25 years experience in appraisal of commercial and residential real estate and holds a bachelor's degree in political science and business from Washington State University. He lives in Carnation.

Philip A. Heier became a sales agent in Windermere Real Estate's Queen Anne office. Heier previously worked as a salesperson with Nordstrom.
Windermere Bellevue Commons office co-owner Pat Grimm was elected this year's chairman of the board for the Northwest Multiple Listing Service for the East King County area. The NWMLS, based in Kirkland, serves members in 13 counties covering most of western Washington. The association encompasses 1,300 real estate companies with more than 13,700 sales associates. Grimm has served on the board since January 1999.
