Lumber company helps builders construct homes
Parr Lumber's factory-built house components are said to eliminate 75 percent of lumber waste, reduce homeowners' energy bills and provide cleaner indoor air.
Parr builds pieces of a house’s frame in a factory, assembles them on site, then guides subcontractors on certain finishing steps.
PARR LUMBER has studied building science for the last eight years but Nate Bond, director of sales, said it took a doomsday scenario for the company to turn its information into a product.
