On the Block: Life-science flip for 2601 Elliott, post-Zulily, looks more likely
A lot has changed, for both the online retailer Zulily and its landlord at 2601 Elliott Ave., since April. The DJC then first reported on a possible conversion of that large and mostly empty former industrial building to life-science use. SABA + BA is the architect for owner Shorenstein Properties.
Zulily was sold the following month to private equity firm Regent, of Los Angeles. It soon decamped to much smaller space in Pioneer Square. Most of its employees had been in WFH mode since the pandemic.
