Bellevue's CH2M Hill recently named Gil Salazar senior project manager. He has 25 years of experience in transportation engineering, including work on corridor selection studies and construction management. Associate engineer and traffic modeler Jimmy Wong was with the city of Bellevue. Project manager and civil highway engineer Thomas Mudayankavil has 17 years of international experience on interchanges, light rail and highway projects. Senior project manager Paul Bhaumik has 25 years of expertise on rail projects. Aquatic ecologist Shaun Roark is an aquatic ecologist who's involved on projects in the Upper Columbia River, the Blackbird Mine in Idaho and the Portland Harbor. Sean Battle is an associate engineer for highway and traffic design, working on projects for local transportation agencies. Joe Brentin is a GIS analyst working on replacement of the SR 520 bridge. Gretchen Herron is a wetland scientist working on a revegetation project for the Bunker Hill mine in Idaho. Marybeth Torgerson is an executive assistant to Northwest regional manager Kathy Lombardo. Andrea Hallberg is a human resources specialist, Eileen Stauch is a purchase technician. Structural engineer Kasidit Chansawat recently transferred from the Corvallis, Ore., office to Bellevue.
Ambia has hired David P. Thomas, who has 27 years of architectural experience. Thomas will focus on government-related architecture projects. Ambia is based in Seattle and Olympia, and focuses on education, government, commercial and residential planning and design.

Project architect Mancong Lin has 12 years of experience in commercial, retail and healthcare projects. Guy Peckham was promoted to associate. He has 27 years of experience, and manages multifamily and single-family projects. He is also leading the firm's efforts in sustainability and code compliance. Bumgardner is a Seattle planning, architecture and interior design firm.
Hammond Collier Wade Livingstone promoted Robin D. Nelson to president. Nelson has worked as a professional engineer, consultant and also been in municipal government. Hammond Collier is a civil engineering firm with offices in Seattle, Wenatchee, Lakewood, Omak, and Winthrop.

The Spokane office of Northwest Architectural Co. has promoted
Brent G. Harding and
Michael R. O'Malley to principal from associate principal, and
Gregory J. Hoffman to senior associate from associate. Harding, who has been with NAC since 1992, is currently serving as principal designer of the new Mead Elementary School and project manager for the addition and modernization to Lincoln Middle School in Pullman. O'Malley, who originally joined in 1983, is serving as project manager for the new InCyte Pathology Laboratory Building in Spokane. He is also working on a number of projects at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene, as well as providing design and project management services for a new medical office building on the St. James Healthcare campus in Butte, Mont. Hoffman, an electrical/communications designer and project manager, joined in 1989, helping form NAC Engineering, NAC's electrical engineering division. Hoffman's current projects include the new SIRTI Technology Center in Spokane's University District, Spokane Community College Science Building, and Mount View Elementary School in Seattle.
EDI, Ltd., an Atlanta-based technology consulting firm, announced Christian Lindmark has joined its Seattle office as a senior technology consultant. Lindmark, who comes to EDI with more than seven years of experience in designing technology solutions, will oversee the creation and construction of low voltage systems for major projects throughout the United States. Prior to joining EDI, Lindmark worked as a consultant with Sparling.

Otak Inc. has added water resources engineers to its offices in Kirkland and Lake Oswego, Ore., and a surveyor in Bend, Ore.
Larry Grimm, an engineer and senior project manager, and
Scott Stoneman, an engineer, joined Otak's Water and Natural Resources group in Kirkland. Grimm has worked on master drainage plans for large-scale master-planned communities, and on stormwater, water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Stoneman works on residential surface water and water-supply projects, as well as stream restoration, fish passage and mine-reclamation. He spent a year volunteering in Ethiopia, managing construction of 15 projects.
Terrence Soltz joined the Lake Oswego office. He has experience in surface and sub-surface hydrology, stormwater modeling and environmental fluid mechanics.
