Road paving program prepares city streets for viaduct closure

  • The $80 million program prepared certain city streets for the anticipated jump in traffic when the viaduct closes.

    The program repaved or repaired more than 100 lane miles of road mostly in the city’s CBD.

    There are few areas in downtown Seattle that have not been affected by the Seattle Department of Transportation's recently completed road paving and repairing project.
