SPU moves project management to the 'cloud'

  • The city's utilities department traded its old clunky in-house system for a cloud-based system run by Skire.

    Sometimes, in-house project-management systems can only take you so far before they outlive their usefulness.

    Greg McFarland, a project manager for Seattle Public Utilities, said the utility had been using an in-house system that “was hand-crafted over a number of years to specifically meet our business needs.”
