Old nuke plant energizes local economy

  • The Satsop site is now used for such things as training firefighters and tunnel machine personnel, making storage tanks, testing acoustics, and providing power through a gas-fired plant.

    It may not provide the nuclear power as originally intended, but the power plant at Satsop continues to energize the local economy.
