Old nuke plant energizes local economy
The Satsop site is now used for such things as training firefighters and tunnel machine personnel, making storage tanks, testing acoustics, and providing power through a gas-fired plant.

Brown-Minneapolis Tank — Northwest makes bulk storage tanks in the former twin-turbine building at Satsop.
It may not provide the nuclear power as originally intended, but the power plant at Satsop continues to energize the local economy.
