Pihl has been involved in McCaw Hall in Seattle, McIntyre Hall Performing Arts & Conference Center in Mount Vernon and the Performing Arts Center for the Eastside in Bellevue.

Since joining DEA in 2002, he has managed the topographic and boundary survey used for design of the new Tacoma Police headquarters, the site redevelopment topographic survey for Totem Ocean Trailer Express for the Port of Tacoma and the Bridge of Glass.
West is a member of the Land Surveyor Association of Washington and the American Congress on Survey and Mapping.

Sanford has expertise in strategic real estate planning, financial and life-cycle cost analysis, economic forecasting and operational planning for large, complex public and private enterprises. He leads NBBJ MSOffice1 practice areas, and its planning and civic projects. He joined NBBJ in 1974.
Jeanne Iannucci, a new principal, has worked on projects as small as the University of Washington's Wilson Laboratory Remodel, or as large as the University of Washington Bothell/Cascadia Community College campus, as well as Safeco Field, Seattle Justice Center and Sea-Tac Airport South Terminal expansion. She is currently managing the Museum of Flight expansion.

Hydrogen Advertising, a Seattle-based advertising agency, hired Steve Murray as senior copywriter. Murray comes to Hydrogen from Sweetgrass Advertising and has worked as a copywriter for J. Walter Thompson in Chicago.
David E. Gould was named chair of the Graduate Business and Management College at the University of Phoenix Seattle campus. A faculty member at the university since 1998, Gould also teaches courses in electronic commerce, strategic planning, business planning and applications of technology management.
Bill Connors of Miller Nash was appointed to the National Coal Council. Connor's practice focuses on energy, telecommunications, natural resources, regulated utilities and business. The NCC, located in Washington, D.C., provides advice and guidance as requested by the U.S. secretary of energy on general policy matters relating to coal.
Hergen Eilers will join the faculty at Washington State University in Spokane as part of the Institute for Shock Physics. Eilers, president of NovaCera and co-founder of Quantum Vision, will lead nanophase enhanced optical research.

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers has hired Jeff Littleton as its executive vice president. Littleton served a similar role for the past three years with NACE International, an association of corrosion engineers. ASHRAE is based in Atlanta.
John W. Kirk III has been named chair of the Asphalt Institute's board of directors. Kirk is president and CEO of Associated Asphalt in Roanoke, Va. The Lexington, Ky.-based institute is an association of petroleum asphalt/bitumen producers, manufacturers and affiliated businesses.
Organización Corona SA, a privately owned Colombian company, has bought Mansfield Plumbing Products of Perrysville, Ohio. Mansfield will report through Corona's U.S. based business unit Ceramicorp. The acquisition is part of Corona's strategy for global growth in its plumbing products business, which includes the Corona and Mancesa brand names.
