Developers John Goodman and Fred Grimm paid $5 million for the 3.3-acre Fentron industrial site next to the Ballard Locks, King County property records show.
The two Seattle-based investors, operating as Triad Development, plan to renovate the 130,000-square-foot, 2-story manufacturing building that covers the site, but they don't plan to substantially change its use from mostly industrial, said Grimm.
