Equity Office Properties has something brewing on a major block in downtown Bellevue, near the site of its proposed 34-story City Center II. But so far it looks like Equity is gearing up to build nothing more than a parking lot on all or part of the 3.5-acre site, which fronts on Northeast Eighth Street and 110th Avenue Northeast.
Earlier this spring we began hearing rumblings that Equity had told tenants to vacate the small shops on its property. One shopkeeper, John Greenly of Matt's Famous Chili Dogs, 699 110th Ave. N.E., said he received a notice several months ago.
